Climbing Gym Manager & Operator

Meent is assisting UCPA in recruiting a full-time Climbing Gym Manager & Operator.

Role

• As the Manager and Operator, you will lead your team toward the ambitious goal of making the center a vibrant hub for city dwellers throughout the week and on weekends;
• Your attention to detail will ensure the facility remains in excellent working order, aligned with the brand image and the high expectations of a discerning clientele;
• The general framework of operation/management will be tailored to your profile and project needs, so we seek a candidate with an entrepreneurial spirit.

• Developing revenue, profitability, and overall gym activity is paramount;
• You will provide high-quality customer experiences across climbing, retail, bar, and restaurant services;
• You will be responsible for managing, guiding, and motivating the team;
• Overseeing facility maintenance and equipment upkeep is essential;
• You will handle the center’s administrative and commercial management.

• The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing a profit center in the sports and leisure sector;
• Experience in team management;
• An interest in events management;
• Strong customer service skills;
• Autonomy, motivation, attention to detail, and a positive attitude;
• Passionate about sports, particularly climbing, with a keen interest in creating vibrant, community-focused spaces both day and night, and capable of organizing indoor and outdoor sporting events;
• Evening and weekend work required.

• Contract Type : To be defined
• Location : Atlantic Coast + occasional travel required
• Salary : Based on profile and experience + investment in the structure
